I'm Dale E. Burns, and was born and raised in Goodwater, AL. very close to the Central of Georgia line running from Birmingham, AL. to Columbus, GA.  I have been following train action for as long as I can remember.  My wife, Teresa, is retired from teaching high school math at Horseshoe Bend School in Newsite, AL. We were married in 1985 and lived in Kellyton, AL for 8 years before moving to  Alexander City, AL in 1993.  Both locations, by the way, are on the same CofGa (NS) main that I grew up near.  We moved to our new home on Lake Martin in 2010 where we love the view of the open water. We have two children, Denver (Andy), and Kristian (Kris).  Both share some of my fascination with trains.  I took a position in August 2002 with Nemak in Sylacauga, AL. I've been in Sales for over 13 years, my last position being at Tallapoosa Ford Mercury in Alexander City, AL as a sales consultant and internet coordinator. I actually got the dealerships website up and running.

I've always enjoyed photography and that combined with my rail fanning led to this website. If you've taken the time to read this, please take a little more time and sign my guest book on the HOME page.  Thanks, and I hope you enjoy your stay here.
