The rails have long ago been pulled up. The depot can be seen in town just off Hwy. 22.

This cotton warehouse is adjacent to the depot in Roanoke. Both buildings were on the CofGa line

dubbed the "Johnny Ray"

that ran from Opelika up to Roanoke and intersected with the ACL Lineville Sub.

The Corbin, KY. CSX depot is just at the entrance of the Corbin Yard.

Former Southern depot on the NS 3-B District. This depot is near the convergence of the Autauga Creek District main in Maplesville, AL.

The CofGa depot in Goodwater, AL is seen at it present location about 1/4 mile from the tracks just off of Hwy. 9 North.

Coosa County

The Gulf, Mobile & Ohio depot in Mobile, AL has gone through a major renovation recently and is now being used as office space.

Pelham, AL., at the end of

Ball Park Rd. off of Hwy. 31,

is the N. Shelby Chamber of Commerce. It was moved from MP NJ 960.1 in Pelham.

This scale house can be seen off of Woodward Rd. in Birmingham. It is on the former Mead Corp. RR's

right of way.

Here is a picture I took while on vacation of the Williamsburg, Virginia Amtrak Depot on the CSX (C&O) Peninsula Subdivision of the Allegheny Division that runs from Newport News, VA to Richmond, VA.

July 10, 2002.

The Lee Hall, Virginia depot can be found on the same CSX line just South of Williamsburg, VA. Restoration of the depot is in progress.

The depot, built in 1903, stood where Broad Street now runs. The stores in the background are still there.

The Central of Georgia depot in

Kellyton, Alabama just West of

Alexander City, AL. The depot was torn down many years ago.

Coosa County

The former Central of Georgia freight depot sits at the crossing of the CofGa Alabama Division and L&N Alabama Mineral RR mains in Sylacauga, AL.

Talladega County

Union Passenger Station was built by the L&N and CofGa at their diamond in Sylacauga to accommodate the local residents. The street is Hwy. 21 heading toward Talladega, AL.

It is the former motorcar house originally located in Hurtsboro on the same line & moved here after the portion from Cottonton to Mt. Meigs was closed.
